How much does it cost to send a backpack?
The price for sending backpacks is 4€ per stage * for accommodation within the Camino de Santiago (maximum 30Km per stage).
For those outside the route an extra cost will be applied depending on the accommodation.

Do I have to make a reservation at the accommodation?
Yes, in order to send and receive the backpacks or suitcases you must have a reservation at the accommodation, as the name of the person you give us is the one we will use at the destination to deliver the backpack or suitcase.

If I do 5 stages, what is the price of the route?
The price per stage (maximum 30 km) is 4€, so 5 stages would cost a total of 20€ (5 stages for 4€ each stage*). This is provided that the accommodation is within the Camino de Santiago.

Do you deliver and pick up at any accommodation on the Camino de Santiago?
Yes, in all accommodation on the French Route from O Cebreiro to Santiago de Compostela.
We do not guarantee the delivery of suitcases in Apartments, since many times they do not answer us and we cannot deliver the suitcases.
Suitcase and bag is it one or two pieces of luggage?
The price of €4 per stage is per piece of luggage, therefore, a suitcase + bag will be considered as 2 pieces of luggage, i.e. €8.
Can I send more than one backpack or suitcase?
Yes, you can send whatever you want, if you send 2 packages you will be charged 8€ (4€ per package).
What is the maximum weight of the suitcase?
Maximum weight 15Kg per suitcase *
* If the suitcase weighs more than 15Kg, Xacotrans is not responsible for possible damage caused by excess weight in it.
Do you offer group discounts?
Yes, from 10 or more packages with the same origin and destination in the stages we apply an extra discount on the fare.
Example: 10 people with 10 pieces of luggage = extra discount.
Example: 5 people with 10 pieces of luggage, two for each = extra discount.
